Have I been rejected?

I have a great cv and want to leave current job due to bullying management. I applied online for a similar role at another company. I got an automated response thanking me for my cv, that was 2 weeks ago and I have heard nothing more. The job is still currently being advertised. It is a large Plc company. Does this mean they are still collecting cv's and will contact people once the advert closes? Or does it mean I haven't been selected for interview?

I would assume that they are still accepting applications and will shortlist after closing date has passed.

Was there a closing date on the advert? I wouldn't give up hope until the date has passed and/or the advert is down. Good luck!

No closing date. Dp said the same whilst we shouted at computer 'helloooo perfect employee right here' lol. I'll just wait till advert comes down and see. I have two weeks off in 5 weeks time so don't want a role offered for a few weeks anyway so I can still take holiday before starting a new place. Would actually love to hand in notice of 4 weeks but two of those would be holiday
