Hi everyone im
New here and have got an interview tomorrow for a care home specialising in dementia and alzheimers. I really really want this job and would like to study dementia further. Does anyone know what type of questions i may be asked? Thanks in advance

I haven't worked in dementia care specifically but have worked in (and interviewed people in) social care.
We asked questions about confidentiality, team work, person centred planning, choice, dignity, health and safety and risk assessment. Our questions were scenario based so a risk assessment question might be something around a person you support wanting to do a risky activity and how you would handle it. We'd want to hear that you'd safeguard the person but do what you could to help them achieve their goal and make sure their choices were respected. For us, we were very much looking for the kind of staff that put people first and ensured their rights, choices and dignity.

Best of luck!
