Examples of interview questions please (it's been so long since I had one). Do they still ask 'what are your weaknesses?'!! How do you answer that one???

hi - will most likely ask stuff about your competencies with various computer programmes - word, excel, mailmerge etc if it is an admin post. They may well ask what your weaknesses are so make it into a positive like: "i can be a perfectionist" or "i don't like doing (a certain task like filing) so i often put off doing it but i always get it done within the timescale i have been given" They may ask what projects you have worked on, what went well and what didn't (and what you learnt from the experience). They may ask if you are a team player or prefer working on your own and how you like to be managed ... there is a great book which i have called "great answers to tough interview questions" which i got in W H Smith about 3 years ago ... will dig it out and see who the author is.

is this you?

What admin experience have you had?
What are your strengths/weaknesses?
Why do you want the job?
Why are you the right person for the job?

Also, bone up on the company and what it does etc, that way you'll look keen if they ask you something around that area.

Good luck!

try to think of any weakness and turn it so it's actually a strength for the job. ie "I am a bit of a perfectionist but I think that's a positive thing as it means I'm very thorough and make sure everything gets done on time and to a good standard". HTH
