school catering interview help needed!

Hi Everyone, I'm going for an interview for a catering assistant role in a secondary school and I'm so nervous. I really need this job as it would enable me to spend more time with my daughter and help me when she does come to age to go to school, as I wouldn't need to arrange child care for the holidays. I currently work weekends and in the week and constantly struggle to arrange childcare as I have to do weekends. It would take so much pressure off me. Could you please tell me any information, tips, advice and any experiences in interviews for this particular role. I would appreciate any help!

Hi, I don't think I can be a great help as I don't do that job but I work in a high school and think it would be good if you gave examples of how you support healthy eating, limiting fat and salt intake perhaps in your own family diet, eg bolognese add herbs for flavour as opposed to sugar n salt. Also, you understand the need to work fast to get meals out on time and have great relationships with all the teenagers you know (acknowledge how hard it is for year 7s finding their feet). Main thing is work well with others. Hope that is of some help x
