I work part-time (21.5 houts per week) including a half day on a Monday. My friend also works the same hours as me but for a different employer. She has her bank holiday entitlement pro-rata'd and the hours she doesn't get to take (as she only does monday mornings) added to her anual leave entitlement.
Is this a 'perk' or a legal entitlement?
...she thinks its do do with not descriminating against part-time employees.
Are there any employment guidelines anywhere?
