Maternity Allowance - Self Employed Really Confused!

Hi, Im getting really confused with Maternity Allowance and whether I will be able to claim it or not, I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant with my first child and run my own website/ebay shop as a sole trader. I have been self employed for the past 3 1/2 years and paid class 2 NI for all that time, I do not earn £30 a week which which it stipulates you must have earnt, so does this mean i'm not entitiled to it?

I keep seeing various things on other sites saying as long as you have paid the NI class 2 for the qualifying weeks then it doesn't matter what you earned you will get the full amount of MA, but then others are saying different, I've read through the dwp booklet thing about it but I can't work out if im entitiled to it or not!

Thanks.

Call the Maternity Allowance team at the Job Centre. I got a bit confused when applying for mine but gave them a call and they were really helpful.
