Are there figures available for incidence/prevalence (can never remember which I mean) of stress-related absences at work? I know you see newspaper reports on the burden of stress-related sick leave from nursing and teaching, but what about other professions, and the private sector? I'm curious to know rough averages, be it 1 in 10, 1 in a 100, or whatever. I'm not sure where to start looking, or quite what to search for. (UK numbers preferably, but EU will also be useful.)
