Any NHS Band 7s working less than 3 days a week?

I am asking as I have some health issues and was thinking of dropping a day down from 3 to 2, if possible. However, my manager has implied that Band 7s are not allowed to do less than 3. I am going to enquire with HR, but just wondered re others experiences? I am a speech and language therapist.

Previously a Band 7 team leader of mine worked 2 days. But I think it was challenging.

I worked with 2 band 7s who worked 2 days term time only! One of them job shared with a girl who did 3 days. I think it would be hard and as you know band 7s in some trusts aren't overly safe and you may be disadvantaged if you need to reapply for your own job against someone else. However health comes first x

Thank you both :) Chances are, they would say no, but I might enquire anyway. I have multiple sclerosis but don't want to give up work completely, I have worked so hard to get to this level!
