Distance courses to study journalism

Hi, I would really like to study Journalism (preferably distance learning). I've seen some courses but would like to know if anyone has any recommendations?

Tbh the only really respected journalism courses are the postgrad qualifications at places like City, Cardiff or Falmouth. The benefits of going somewhere like that include being taught by current or very recent journalists and the opportunities to network and get meaningful work experience. I'd avoid anywhere that didn't put a lot of emphasis on helping you get a good placement otherwise I fear you would be wasting your money

Completely agree. Contacts are all. Could you do work experience on a local paper?
