I could do with some advice.
I have a job, pays well, great work-life balance, 20 mins from home, but don't enjoy the work or my boss
Sort of fell into an interview for a well known company, thought I should go along and see as agency called and thought I'd be a good fit. Not sure on role, but I think better than current one, commute of 35 minutes, and they say they are open to some flexibility, but proof is in pudding so I don't yet know how flexible of course. I was offered and verbally accepted the role but they have been messing around with getting paperwork out, giving me time to procrastinate, and now I'm not as sure..
I have seen another role advertised for completely different company for which I am not ideally suited, but that really interests me. Of course, they aren't even interviewing until mid July anyway and I may not get an a look in at all, so might just be pie in the sky. I think the fact this is something that interests me, is making me question accepting the other role, which I am struggling to get excited about...
Would you back out of accepted role, obviously annoying company, recruiter etc on the off chance something better might come off!?
