Is there such a thing as a questionnaire that tells you the job you're best qualified for once it has analysed your answers?

I did once aged fourteen and now I'd like an actual job. Wouldn't mind the suggestion from nearly 30 years ago Shock30?!?!?!?

Thanks addicted. I tried it and got some very interesting suggestions. A lot of which tie in nicely with my current role....

About 10 years ago I did an online questionnaire at a local careers service IIRC.

I seem to remember them debating whether or not I was eligible to do it because of my age (mid 30s at the time) and level of qualifications (degree) but as I had been out of work for a certain amount of time (raising DC) I sort of fitted in their criteria so they agreed to advise me .

Anyway I came out with the top suggestion being that I should work in the careers service and essentially do the job of the woman who interviewed me and took me through the programme! Grin

I just did mine - a lot of the jobs suggested sound interesting but require too much effort retraining etc - like engineer, scientist. lawyer or doctor - and what's left is...teacher. Which is what I am. Oh well.

I think it was scarily accurate but I realise I need a different kind of questionnaire. I need one that could give me a job on the basis of my GCSEs and years of being a nanny, mum and housewife. Yilch then! I'm nervous as I'm not sure how I even start to get some qualifications but I just know I have a lot to offer if given a chance.
