Weird tax code

Received my pay slip and my tax code has changed to 0000t/1. I usually pay about £300 tax and this month they have taken £640.

The tax office is closed so cant call until tomorrow, was just wondering if anyone knew why this would happen? Hmm

Has anything changed? Did you get a notification to say that your tax code was changing?

It's a code giving you no personal tax-free allowances, being operated on a monthly basis instead of cumulative.

Do you get any benefits like private medical cover? My tax code is like that because of how they tax you on benefits.
