DS1 is not well and is in hospital. He has been here most of this week with me and DH shuffling back and forth. He is responding well and looks so much better but it appears he has quite a nasty condition and there is the chance he could be here another 2 weeks at least.
DH and I both work full time but condensed so each have and afternoon off with the kids (we have another younger DS).
We have been using annual leave and quite a lot but we had wanted to have time off over xmas.
I see the we could consider parental leave but it needs 21 days notice to the employer. We do not have 21 days notice to give as the leave will be needed now.
What can we do?
