Some help needed please. I will try to keep it succinct.
6 month ftc to cover maternity leave finished on April 19 with 4 week notice period
Employer asked me to extend (6 weeks no final date or extension received) to cover another position whilst they recruited
I agreed but did make it clear verbally that I would be job hunting and also applied for the role I am covering.
I have now been offered another role elsewhere who are looking for an ASAP start. I have said that I could start week after next allowing for a 1 week handover to someone internally or the new recruit (interviews this week)
It is a PA role so unlikely to have too many detailed issues that might be associated with a more senior position.
Just wanted to find out if there is anything in particular I need to consider in approaching my current company as I want to leave on good terms.
