My daughter is 5 months and we love her, my other half works and earns a decent wage, I'm a carer currently but also a qualified nursery nurse. I feel guilty as we are struggling financially, and we get some benefits however I feel as though i should be pulling my own weight, I want to work but I'm interested working from home, so no need for childcare. What jobs are there to work from home? Do I need qualifications? Ideas and advice would be much appreciated!

I would say the obvious one is childminding. You'd be able to earn a decent amount and stay at home.

Wouldn't that involve being Ofsted registered and other things? I have outside access but not a garden, and its all communal, however fantastic idea! Thankyou :)

I looked into it, however DP has been made redundant so he may well become a SAHD. There are one or two hoops to jump through but it seems reasonable straightforward (I am in Scotland though so it's slightly different I think). You have to register. How many children you can take is based on square meters of living space excluding halls, kitchens and bathrooms and depending on the age of the children you take.
