Anyone know the best place to get advice from or been in similar situation ( thinking of ringing ACAS) I currently work 22 hours over three days. I have been told I now have to work this over four days. I can't get childcare as I agreed with my minder what days I would need her. My job is also a thirty mile round trip and If I could get childcare I would have to pay out extra for it. So I will get the same wage but be really worse off financially. Really hacked off. Best if it is I was hoping with holidays incurred to finish end of June anyway and start my maternity leave with new baby. So why all the upheveal just for a few weeks? Has anyone else been in a similar situation

What does your contract say? Your days of work will be in that surely.Speak to HR.

Personally if it were me I would just say that I cannot work that 4th day as I don't have childcare.

Yes it depends largely on what your contract says about hours/varying hours.
