I'm wondering if you can help me, please.
My colleague is coming back from maternity leave in a few months and is going to be asking for a change to hours. They are not English and have asked me to help with the return to work letter.
Her husband also works there. She works 6-2 and he works 2-10. Primarily, they would like an hours hand over time. This would decrease, I imagine, as everyone becomes accustomed. They would both like to work full hours and not lose any money.
Currently, they each have one hours worth of breaks divided into 2 x 15 minute breaks and 30 mins lunch.
Their plan is she works 5.30-1.30 and he works 2.30-10/10.30 and/or that they work through some of their break (only 30 mins is unpaid)
Does anyone know how this could work or help me compose a letter? I used an online template for my maternity leave letter and now I give this to the relevant staff. I can't find similar for return to work shift changes.
ANY help would be very much appreciated
