Im back to work part time after 8 wonderful months of maternity leave and have to say im gutted to be returning.

I feel for you but try to think of all the positives...being a great role model, providing a secure home and having a longer weekend than full time! Hope it goes well. In the longer term there may be other options?

Im feeling alot more positive about it today. Depressed so my Dh has booked a holiday for june which we could not afford had i not been going back.

I've been back for 3 weeks and it's way less painful than I thought it would be, so it might be the same for you! I was dreading it, but the days fly by, it's good to be getting stuck into challenging, brain engaging stuff and I so look forward to seeing DS that leaving work is lovely Hope you feel the same.

Had first day back today, enjoyed it but feel so guilty my lo has been upset and looking for me all day
