I'm self employed and pay all my class 2 and 4 national insurance etc. when filling in the online forms to check if we are eligible for shared parental leave I put in I was earning £150 a week which meant DH would qualify for the leave but just wondering if you can earn less than that and still qualify? I kind of guess that if you earn less than the stat mat pay of £138 a week you wouldn't qualify but wanted to check! I'm due in oct but summer hols v. Quiet time for me work wise so worried about earnings in qualifying period. Be incredible if DH can take full year off!
