My wonderful accountant has had to quit due to ill health and I need to find another one quick sharp. I actually found her on mumsnet so I'm hoping I can be just as lucky again. I have a small ltd company so need someone to do VAT returns, payroll and end of year accounts for me and my husband. Ideally a set monthly fee - we don't have lots of transactions - and I'd prefer a work-from-home mum type rather than a big practice. Where's the best place to look for such a person? I can only find companies through googling as most of these people seem to work on a smaller scale.
