I have been self employed as a beauty therapist for last 7 years but now really want to return to being employed for more security.
I'm also looking at returning to working in an office as an administrator which I have at least 6 years experience of pre children. I have tailored my CV to highlight my admin and business skills that I have from running my own salon.
Still, I am applying for lots but not getting far and am so frustrated. It is a very competitive work field here.
I am worried lack of recent employer references will be a problem when I do finally get close to an offer.
I have got previous clients and character references.
Anyone got experience of this?
Will this be a problem?
