I am not affiliated with this (Freelance board regular) but I know many women post on this thread about going back. I receive emails from Women Like Us (a social enterprise which helps women get back into the work place) and in today's email they mention a pilot for a back to work mentor scheme in London. The text from the email is below and I also paste below info about the programme.
Would you like a mentor to help you return to work?
Steps Ahead Mentoring is a free face-to-face mentoring programme, run by the CIPD with support from Nesta and the Cabinet Office. The programme will link women to HR professionals who can support their return to work, and is partnering with Women Like Us to make this happen
A small, London based pilot will start in mid-April and there are 30 mentee places available – to register you interest in taking part email [email protected]
