Need some opinions: I have worked freelance have my own company since 2007 in IT/ERP Consulting. In 2012 I branched out with this business into technology resale. This has not worked out for me mainly because I do not have the sales skills. This year I have tried to move back into IT/ERP but so far no luck. Now I am thinking I need to make a sideways move that will bring in about the same or more income. I need as many suggestion as possible as I seem to have a mental block when I think of doing something new! My skills are essentially problem solving , I am creative and have over 20 years experience of accounting and finance systems and large ERP projects. What do I do next. I am not a number cruncher and I am not technical ie programer? As many off the wall suggestions as possible PLEASE.

How about trying to get the sales skills?
For most people it's fear of trying to sell that is the issue - it's not an very " British" thing to do but with a different mindset and a few techniques that are easy to learn anyone who wants to sell can do it

The basics shouldn't cost you much more than a few hundred quid for a one day course and then some follow up mentoring .
