Family friendly jobs?

Im thinking in a few years I may shut up shop as a child minder but not sure what I want to do instead. I've worked mostly with children but also in retail and hospitality.

Although my son will be older he has SEN so I don't know how independent he will be. Am trying to be realistic and bear in mind I may still need to be around in a way I wouldn't with most older children.

So - if you have a family friendly job then please share as I am looking for inspiration. Smile

have you thought about setting up your own business? I know some mums who have set themselves up on Elance are doing various Admin tasks, social media stuff, transcription work for other small businesses.
