Setting up a HR company - anyone interested? Any advice?

Hi all,

I am planning on setting up a company which will provide full HR services to a franchise network in the UK. I am currently the Head of HR of the central company, and have made the decision to move to a self employed position. However, they are keen to keep me so have asked me to set up this company. I would be self employed, and the team working for me would be self employed. It's an amazing opportunity.

Couple of things....

  1. I need people who wish to work for me on a self-employed basis across the country; what is the best way to find these people? I am a mummy of two small children and part of my challenge has been to "fit" back into the Corporate world. I would love to work with other people in my kind of position; ie blue-chip trained but who don't want the 9-5 (or 8 til 7!) anymore.
  1. Does anyone have experience of pricing a company of this nature?

Any advice welcome

Many thanks

Hi there

I have just seen your post from March, I would be really interested in us connecting. I have worked for over 15 years as a commercial HRBP in large corporate organisations and I'm taking a break to really try to find the right work life balance. I have two children and don't want to work full time.

How are you getting on with this?

Regards
Nicola
