I'm in the same position so feeling your pain. Although I haven't applied for reduced hours or flexible working because I have already been told that I won't get it.

Full time from April is then!

This happened to me and was the reason I choice not to go back to work although I know not everyone can make that choice (although it has left us in a very small house).

My sister just couldn't understand how they could refuse it though, she didn't get it that they only had to consider it as she could pick what hours she wanted to do when she went back.

I have no idea how it's going to work... still bf DD and she doesn't sleep through. Definitely going to get a cleaner!! And will have to seriously consider handing my notice in and looking for something else for September.

When I went on mat leave, they filled my post with a permanent person. They still have no idea (or aren't telling me) what I will be doing when I go back. I got my contract changed to 3 days after dd1 but the headteacher (private school)?doesnt want part-time staff... I have a bad feeling about what I'm going to be doing.Confused
