Today, my husband leaves his longterm employment; his last day for a company for whom he entered a pact with a mighty beast where night has entered day and for whom 24hrs has never been enough. The globe has, in fact, for this corporate monster, claimed his youth, his happy parent hours and his Sunday calm BUT it shall not have his balls because I am trained in the art of defending my loved ones against monsters and a plaster of homemade pizza and Kevin Spacey shall furnish our hearts tonight. Am I the only one who reads the likes of the chaos of the HSBC no-pay-tax-fallout as the real reason for austerity and the fact that the Rifripperoffer kins of the Tory party are not content with a sole financial motivator ? One job is all my husband needs but there are two standards, two levels in our society and yes my husband's redundancy pay will be taxed. I support the welfare state and the NHS is my darling and I shall continue to believe in a world that can realise just what can be achieved through hard work and honesty. The big question is have we got anybody in our political arena who is not wearing the fickle face of one rule for us and another for them, along with the NHS cuts, zero hours contracts, food banks, Russian gas? ...I honestly don't expect the Green Party to be up to managing the devious ministry of trip-you-up radio interviewing reporter-style bks, but, oh yes, the Etonian boys can do that kind of b*ks, they could also run their own wind farm with all that nasty hot air gulf streaming towards us with all their post-election promises...promise me this whomsoever gets in this May...that everyone will just pay their taxes and then things might balance out a bit...oh the bitterness that can not even be assuaged by a good noggin of black chocolate....neading pizza dough may heal me...
