I have a website hosted by a company I have 0 confidence in. I don't understand too much about hosting etc.

How easy is it to move my existing website (exactly as it is) to a other hosting company? TIA

It should be fairly easy. The new hosting company should help you make the switch. I loved to Green Geeks and the customer service was brilliant.

Thanks, is it normal for a £ to be associated with this, appreciate there will always be a monthly fee but a one off cost to move the website to a new content management system?

I can't remember paying much, if anything, and now pay about $5 a month so it's next to nothing.

If you're on Twitter talk to them on there - they're really helpful and will answer any questions you have.

I don't know which CMS you use but I use Wordpress and the move over was completely seemless. They talked me through every stage and I am a bit of an IT luddite so if I can do it anyone can.
