Pregnant, unemployed and jobhunting in a new area! Help!

Help please ladies!

I unexpectedly fell pregnant whilst doing a full-time training course to change careers and as such decided to withdraw from the course recently. I don't believe the career change would be viable with a newborn and once I have secured some work I intend to move to be with my partner who lives some way away.

I am now applying for jobs where my partner lives but am concerned that having left a career to retrain, then left that mid-course and moved to a new area, employers will be wary of taking my application further.

I feel that morally it would be wrong to apply for a permanent position unless it was part-time and I could go back to it after the baby is born so am focusing on temporary work but I'm unsure how much to reveal in my cover letters. I feel employers will look at my CV and question why I have left my course and moved so far from home so I have been trying to address this fairly ambiguously saying: "a change in personal circumstances meant reconsidering my options and ultimately, moving to (said area)." If offered a temporary position I would then let the company know.

How do people suggest I best explain my situation in my applications in order to maximise my chances of gaining employment? And should I look after number one and apply for all suitable jobs rather than just temporary positions?
