So, I've seen an online course I'd be interested in on Groupon ( with online acadamies) saw it before but dithered about it too much & missed it! It's an online TA course. From £49 for TA course, then £59 for higher level & £79 for TA & higher level. Currently I'm a lunchtime superviser & thinking this course would prove beneficial if I wanted to become a TA . Firstly, which option would be the best, should I opt for the higher level or just the basic one & secondly, would something like this definitely prove beneficial at all, are these courses worthwhile?

I have nothing to add but would be interested in any advice on this one as currently volunteering a school with becoming a TA in mind and need to sort out getting a formal qualification. Originally tried Adult Ed but with working also I can't commit to volunteering for 2 days a week to satisfy their criteria.

Avoid.
Its a Diploma offered by Online Academies.... and accredited by Online Academies. No value whatsoever.
Get yourself onto an NVQ 2 or 3 (or whatever the current terminology is). If you haven't had financial support before you may get funded; or you could approach your school and see if they would support/sponsor you.
