I started a thread in chat so to save me explaining again I have added a link.

If you could be so kind to offer any advice I would be really grateful. I have already had some good advice but would like to see what others have to say.

Oh dear you poor thing. Do you have the whistleblowing policy? Because it should state that whistleblowers are protected from harassment / bullying as the Equality Act requires. And you could be being harassed right now.

Get the policy. Get a meeting with your line manager and point out your rights. It surely can't be that much of a hassle to get the colleague to move wards.

Whistleblowers do not receive any protection from the Equality Act. Try the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998. That is far more relevant.
