Hi, I've been with my company for 4 years. I'm currently on secondment fir 12 Months, which finished July 15, my maternity leave starts April 9th. My company are saying that when I come back I will be go back to my original position. Even though my job will remain the same! Is thus right?

Not sure what you mean by your job will remain the same, but if you weren't on maternity leave and in July you would be returning to your original job then yes, that will be what you go back to after mat leave.

You go back to your substantive job as the secondment will have ended whilst you were off.
They are highlighting that your (original) job remains the same as you're not allowed to alter a job because someone goes on maternity, that's discrimination. So they are just confirming that they won't be cutting your tasks or your position or your wages just because you had a baby!
