Starting cleaning company, 7 bed property

My first client has a 7 bed property, going to meet him tomorrow. He has said 3 hours a week but I'm thinking that's going to be hard to do. It takes a good 1 1/2 for my teeny two bed.
Do you think it's realistic, he's said its in a real mess at the minute.

How did your meeting go? I would say that would be very hard to clean especially if there is a back log of cleaning.

Oh dear I'm a dirty trout then. My lovely mums help has 3 hours to do my 4 bed house.

I would say 4hrs for a 7 bed that is relatively tidy would be ok and used but becuase he said its in a real mess I'm imagining the worst.

3hrs for a four bed is fine imo, I suppose it depends what you want cleaners to do in that time.

Depends how may bathrooms or ensuites.utility rooms.lounges etc they have.

We would be charging around £80-100 per visit here depending on the amount of traffic within the house.

If we were to charge it out as hourly we would need 6 man-hours and at £15 per hour that would be £90 per visit.

Never I mean NEVER let a client tell you how long a home will take to clean professionally, always do a walk-through of the house and then email a quote which they can then take or leave.

Three hours is ridiculous for a seven bedroom house unless you do a quick scuff round and set yourself up for complaints and demands. It is setting you up for a fail - NEVER undersell your services when there are SO may clients who will pay a premium for quality cleaning.
