getting back into the city after time out

I also posted this in employment issues, but this topic seems more apt.

In my work, I often contract with ex-city professionals who are no longer working for their expertise on specific matters. This tends to be on a part time basis with people who have retired, but it got me thinking, the perfect person would be a parent who took time out to bring up children and is now looking for a way back into industry.

Does anyone know where I would find such parents? As a mum who has recently returned to work, it would be great to help others get back in too...

Hi - I see nobody has replied to you! Sounds like a good idea to me. I live in Buckinghamshire and there is a group called 'Ten to 2' which has been set up to specifically help women get back into work - 10 to 2 often being the hours that suite when children are small and still need dropping and picking up from school. They might be able to help you.
