Mat leave holidays

Hey!

I am ready for returning to work after mat leave. I know you accrue holidays whilst on mat leave but my companys holiday year runs from 1st dec - 30th nov, so when I return to work will I have lost the holidays I accrued up to 30th Nov and have the holidays I acrrued from 1st dec?

I didn't lose mine - I tagged them onto the end of my mat leave even though it was a different holiday year. I had two weeks so was actually paid full pay for my last two weeks off if that makes sense.

You didn't tske all your hols befor mat leave?

What are the rules re carting holiday over or the specific mat leave holiday rules?

And how much of your annual allowance had you used before you went? Where I work you have to use all your allowance before you commence maternity leave or arrange to carry the difference over.
