Best day of the week/month to hand notice in

I want to hand my notice in at work. I have to give 2 months notice. Im just wondering if there is a best time to hand mu notice in?

If I get paid on 28th of each month and my leave year ends on 7th April annually, should I wait until Friday 6th February to make sure I don't owe any leave or should I hand notice in on the last day of the month for pay purposes?

Your pay will be calculated to the exact day you leave but any holiday accrual may be based on complete months, in which case at the beginning of a month is the best time to hand in your notice.
