2nd Interview for PA

Need to find out how they feel about working alone for some of the time without saying 'how do you feel about working alone'

Also other questions that are searching - to do with initiative!

TIA

Hmmm...how about "tell me about a time/project that you worked (on) without supervision. How did you go about it and what was the outcome?"

AnguaVonUberwald · 19/10/2006 11:38

Key words would be "self starter, Deadlines, without supervision"

What do you do if you run out of assigned work and no-one is around to assign more.

Tell me about a time when you spotted an issue and went on to resolve it yourself.

Might be worth checking about the social aspect of it as well. Some people would find it hard to spend too much time alone each day.

Yes agree, we need to make sure they are ok with this.

Time alone, time on the road away form office and home (but with group of people) time just one to one...need ot be comfortable with it all.

Thanks good stuff

questions like "tell me a time when you've done more than expected" are usful.

ask them what a current typical day and expectations are - see how much they are currently expected to work on own initiative

ask what stresses them and what wouldn't work for them on the job.
