Hi im working in a well known company which operates in retail and hospitality. Im working in their hospitality. Since i joined them i have been subject to bully harassment and discrimination by two colleagues and main manager. I raise a grievance letter and as a result my manager and one of my colleague was fired. I carried on working with the other one whom thinks he is smart. I went on maternity leave when i return from it i found that my smart colleague had spread some malicious and smear campaign in the whole building. New staff and manager whom has never worked with was treating me with a hostile attitude. As i became part time i really didn't care until last saturday i turn up to work as usual.
Started my shift at midday and while covering my colleague section during his break, duty manager told me to go on break; while waiting for lift she came to me and told me that a guest has made a complained about me that im smelling bad. Then she follows by asking me if i took shower perfumed myself which i answer yes. At first i was so stunned i was just listening and answering back normally. I went in our canteen sat on chair and things started to sung in my head. I was so upset and i decided to go back and called her on the side. When i asked her to confirm what she just told me, she retracted and said that no guest has made a complain and that it is her who is complaining. I then said to her in my history of working in hospitality i never experienced what she just told me. I informed her that im on way home after what she just told. Was so upset i have a 16 months baby which am still breastfeeding. While on my way home one of my colleague told me that it is set up by my dear old colleague which has been spreading rumours about me smelling.
Got home didnt sleep at all during weekend got cramps in the belly and shouting on my baby. Call my gp today and she advise me to raise a grievance letter again.
By the way everyone got uniform provided by company except me. I bought my own uniform as they order small size and im also the only girl in a team of mens. Just a thought to go back there is making me sick. Help me pls
