WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOUR CHILDREN ARE AT PLAYSCHOOL?

thats it really..any ideas as how to fill the time?..I only have on dd who started playschool a month ago and I am already bored...not enough time to do a job I am used to...any ideas on anything else?What do you do?

when ds2 was at pre-school last yr, I would go to the gym on one day, and do the weekly food shop on the other

sometimes I go back to bed

sometimes I sky + a movie and watch it then

normally I do coffee with other parents or go swimming

or you could volunteer your time to a local charity shop if you are itching to do something?

Run about like a blue arsed fly doing things I can't do with ds3 around.Yesterday I cleaned out a food cupboard.
I really need to get a life.

What do I do? This week in my 'child free' time I've:

Done food shopping
Cleaned house/done washing
Worked (am a freelancer)
Worked on PTA stuff and also had a morning meeting about an upcoming event
Bit of MN

I don't have enough hours in the day. I never struggle to fill it and never put the TV on in the day - God, chance would be a fine thing!

I know I am lucky I am bored but I don't feel it! have done food shopping for one day and bit of xmas shoppping today but she goes another morning in january so will have mre time.have just had a look on a job search website for ideas...may have a look at charity work

tbh, it becomes easier once they are in school (even part-time school) because there are loads of ways you can help out with the school - so going in to listen to them read, helping out with school clubs etc.
