hi i have just started a new job (on the 27th oct) working on check outs i only do 3 shifts a week but just found out am 4 week pg, i know it very early days but am concerned what my employers may do?. I have also just had my 6 week work review and the company is wanting to move me onto various departments and eventually see me as a team leader when my youngest starts nursery at easter. should i tell them or just wait.

Wait. You don't have to tell them until you're 25 weeks.

Info on maternity leave here OP www.gov.uk/maternity-pay-leave/overview

Tell them when you want. You certainly don't need to tell them now though.

You don't need to tell them, but you may find that some of your usual tasks become uncomfortable / unsafe. If you do tell them, they can do a risk assessment and may assign you different tasks.
