SMP eligibility.

Can someone help me work this out please.

I've been employed permanently since 14th October. Probation is 6 months.

if I was to fall pregnant (am trying) would I qualify for SMP.

Is it 15 weeks counting back from due date ?

Basically, as long as you were employed before you become pg, and are employed until you are 26 weeks pregnant (15 weeks before EDD), you will qualify for SMP (as long as your earnings are over the threshold of about £111/wk).

Probation doesn't affect your eligibility.
