Breaks at work

Can anyone clarify how many hours you should legally work without a break please? I was working for a company where I worked for 4-41/2 hours without a break. I was on my feet the whole time and found it too hard physically.

AFAIK you must be given a break if you work more than 6 hours. Not necessarily paid.

No right to a break if you do four ish. But you should be allowed to grab a drink of water and pop to the loo

you are entitled to a 20 minute rest break if you work 6 hours or more
