Do you work for the UN or someone similiar?

I'm going back to university to study a Masters in Bio Security and Disaster Management.
Ideally I'd like to work (one day) for the WHO/UN, Red Cross, MSF etc
What advice would you give to someone just starting out?

Do you want to end up working internationally, doing aid work?

Maybe. I'm not sure yet. I don't start until February.
I think I'd like to be more hands off. I've spent the last few years working with patients. International work is fine. DH is thinking of retraining as a nurse.
