Been told I am being considered for promotion but no one will write anything down. Why is this? I've been working at above my level for a while but timing has not been right. Timing still isn't right but I've started being more vocal about my achievements. Head of dept spoke to her boss but told no guarantees due to us being top heavy after acquiring a company with experienced folk. My immediate boss and another senior director support the promo. How can I help make it happen?
