Hi, I am getting a bit confused.
I work 43 weeks a year. I understand that everyone is entitle to 5.6 weeks paid holiday a year.
So will I be entitled to;

43/52*5.6 = 4.6 weeks, to be taken during my 43 working weeks

or

will I get paid for 5.6 of the 9 weeks that I am not required to work?

And I don't work bank holidays, so should these be counted as 8 days paid holiday?

I have been working for the company for over 3 months and have no contract or written terms, so I want to know where I stand before I ask about it.

thanks

its up to the company as to whether the bank holidays are part of your holiday entitlement or in addition to the 5.6 weeks.

There is a link to the calculator here:

Thanks, however, I can't use that calculator, cos I've not got a contract, so i cant answer the questions it asks me.

I am going to have to ask, yet again, for them to give me a contract. I know I am supposed to have written terms by 2 months, but I have asked countless times (well, 4!) and got nothing but promises.
