Cipd and payroll certification worth it after 4 year gap

hi all,
I have been out of work since long . I recently completed my cipd and have a baby of 7 months . I don't know what to do now . I don't wish to send the baby to daycare till he is 1 but looking at the options I have I have to go back . Would a part time payroll certification helpful in covering up or it's just another wastage of money please suggest

I'm marking my place here. Currently studying CIPD with a 6mo and have been wondering whether a payroll qualification would help get my first job in HR.
