Do I have a reason to make a complaint?

Will try and keep this short.

Been with current employer since Dec 2013. First 7 months as an agency worker. Now on a one year FTC. Am the only person in the organisation on a FTC and 13 people hired since me on permanent contracts.

Manager resigned in August. New manager appointed but not communicated to me at all. Email sent to his direct reports and other people on the account in the US re his appointment.

He has set up 1 to 1s with other direct reports apart from me. My role is different to theirs but we are all at an equal grade. On the couple of occasions he has spoken to me he has been very disparaging about my role. It is of no less importance but is different and still brings in money. Need to,hire someone to work with me but he has not asked what support I need or what the role entails. As it is such a different role it requires a very different skill set to everyone else but I don 't think he realises that.

Feeling totally unsupported and at sea at the moment and my workload is due to treble on Monday with no plan for additional support in place.

Is this something I could raise with HR?

TIA

Presumably you've already raised it with him and asked for a 1 to 1? What was his response?
