So who do I write as a reference

I've been SE for 11 years

Would my deputy be OK, I doubt my last employer remembers me

Could you get a client to give you a reference? I wrote a reference for my old childminder when she applied for a job in a school.

I've done that for the 'not a contemporary not a family member one'

I may have to do 2 clients.....

Any committees or volunteering? Someone from those type of things would fit the non-family reference?
