There are jobs going for Customer Service Assistants with Virgin Trains at New Street station Birmingham.
Haven't a clue why but i quite fancy the job. Just wondered if anyone had/does work for them ???

Also there are jobs for Customer Service Telephony Roles at Natwest. Don't fancy that one quite as much but again wondered if anyone knew anything about them ??

Just noiticed though that the one with Virgin Trains has shifts between 5am and 11pm and i don't drive yet.
Don't suppose any of them would take a person with no qualifications anyway.

I used to work for NatWest Nutty. Not in telephony though & I left when they were taken over by RBS. Friends who still work there say the pressure to sell is much worse now so it would depend if the job was sales or service (although even with service there is always a sale somewhere). On the up side the perks are pretty good, pension, reduced rate private healthcare, share options etc, etc. Also I think the telephony hours are probably pretty flexi?

Good luck

cousin works for natwest in town nutty, hates it, too much pressure from management to hit targets etc.
my dad works at new st for virgin ( but as health and safety) i was going to apply to them for customer service when harry was a baby, but dad advised me against it, they get bawled at all day long as passengers think that the state of the railway is down to them.
sorry ive just read this back and it looks really negative. jobs going at my place if your interested- !!!!

A friend worked for NatWest telesales selling mortgages. She said it was very high pressure with lots of targets.

Don't fancy the idea of the Virgin trains job myself lol. I'd hate to be on the other end of all those irate customers when trains are cancelled etc as they invariably were when I used to travel from New Street!
