Another potential breach of confidence issue

I've just returned to work after my 4th consecutive miscarriage. My manager has been aware for work reasons and told a senior colleague for work reasons - am fine with this.

But it now transpires that this colleague has told several others (essentially the entire PA pool) none of whom have any reason to know for work planning reasons.

My boss is livid and I'm upset too, especially as she specialises in lecturing me on how she's always right and I'm always wrong.

Is this kind of thing worthy of a complaint? I don't know if I want to take it further but it would be good to know if I could.

Thank you.

Of course you should take it further. I would be lodging a grievance

If your boss is "livid" what is she doing about it exactly?

Sorry for late reply! I should correct - boss was livid, and has now moved on. I on the other hand have just come back after being off and so it's still more current with me (if that makes sense!)
